When she was seventeen, Alex Mackenzie fell madly in love with a white knight, who turned out to be the devil in a Versace suit.
Through years of torture, she lies awake at night dreaming of an escape. Her heart is painted black and blue, battered and barely surviving her destructive marriage.
Until one fateful night, when she meets an unlikely ally on a rooftop in Manhattan. A dark prince, glazed with ink and dripping in sin, hiding behind an easy smile and classic Ray Bans. Noah Richards has a reputation. His bedroom is a revolving door of one-night-stands, heart remaining forever off-limits… Until this twisted fairy.
Bruised and flighty, Alex captivates him, and despite his aversion to feelings, he wants more. But his fairy needs a friend, so a friend he aims to be.
Brushing over wrong places and wrong times, their hearts never stop seeking solace in one another.
Happily ever after isn’t usually granted to friends with benefits…
But this fairy tale has only just begun.
Meet the Author
I am the currently self-published indie author of The Midnight City Series (Parts 1-3, Andrew & Tessa's saga). The story of a famous actor, Andrew James, who meets down-to-Earth city girl, Tessa Woodrow at a bar in Manhattan; a night that will forever change both of their lives! (Midnight City, Never Let Me Go, & Always Yours)
I love reading all kinds of fiction, although I have a passion for the dirty, smutty, taboo, and almost any other kind of romantic, erotic, love story. My books are not for the faint of heart. Meaning that I'm still getting used to being able to look people in the eye after they tell me they've read my book. But it's a work in progress.
I like my books sexy, funny, light-hearted, dramatic, relevant, and often boundary-pushing. The thing I love most about books is that they help us to escape from the stresses and turmoil of our lives, and hop into a different time/place/reality. Reading broadens our horizons and opens our minds. That's what I set out to do with my writing.
I would love to one day be on a movie/TV set, bothering a director. And to travel. Just live, and write. That's it.
Each month I will make a blog post for each book that we are running. If you would like to share your thoughts on each one feel free to comment! Or message me (Crystal Gray) and I can add it to the post. Happy Reading!
